Privacy
What they see, and what they do not
- Their certificate carries their name, the cause, and a certificate number. It does not carry the burden, and it does not carry the amount.
- Your name reaches them only if you choose to add it. By default it does not.

Three causes
Solacio currently allocates approximately 76% of its aggregate net revenue — after applicable VAT/sales tax — to charitable funding, approximately 4% to impact administration, and approximately 20% to operating the platform. These proportions describe Solacio's company-wide allocation, not a division of your individual payment.

- Will they know it came from me?
- Only if you add your name, and then only on their certificate. The page they open never shows it.
- What appears on their certificate?
- Their name, the cause Solacio funded, and a certificate number. It does not carry the burden you named, and it does not carry the amount. On the page they open, before the certificate is issued, Solacio shows them the title of the entry you chose.
- When is the cause funded?
- At the moment of purchase. Solacio funds the cause whether or not the gift is ever opened.
- Does the gift link expire?
- Gift access links may expire after 90 days for security reasons. Expiry of the access link does not affect the recipient's entitlement to redeem the gift. As the contribution is funded and the gift is provided upon completion of the purchase, expiry or non-use of the access link does not give rise to any claim for reimbursement or refund.
- Can I give a monthly plan as a gift?
- No. Gift orders are one-time purchases only; a subscription cannot be given as a gift.
- Is this a donation?
- No. Your payment purchases Solacio's digital service, and Solacio funds the cause from its own revenue. The full breakdown is on the transparency page.
